Research objectives
Our research objective is to design Human-Computer interactions that enhance enhance collaboration among students.
We therefore compared several test versions of TurtleTablet with different interaction modes:
- Tactile interactions on an interactive table
- Interactions with tangible object on an interactive table
- Tactile interactions on a tablet
- Interactions with tangible object on a tablet
- Keyboard and mouse interactions on a computer
The experimentations lead with more than 100 middle school students in France show that the versions with interactive objects (on interactive table et on tablets) clearly help the students collaborate and help each other.
We are currently experimenting on a wider scale. If you wish to use TurtleTablet in your class, contact .
